Citizens at the entrance of Taikoo Hui on Tianhe Road in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, stopped and took photos one after another.

Originally, a giant gorilla head statue that reached four to five meters high was located on the square at the entrance of Taikoo Hui.

 The statue was a promotional outdoor advertisement for the movie "King Kong: Skull Island".
